Asja Novak was born in 1993 in Croatia.
In 2008 she moved to London to study art and languages. She has a degree in History of Art and Dutch and studied Dutch language at the largest Centre for Dutch Studies in the English-speaking world based at UCL.
She is currently immersed in literary theory and translation. Her background in arts and languages makes her an ideal translator of Place Lamartine by Jeroen Blokhuis, her first professional translation project.
She lives and works in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
