All the best wishes for 2017!
The New Year starts with a bang! Holland Park Press celebrates the start of 2017 with a busy spring publishing schedule.
First up is The Yellow House, a novel about Vincent van Gogh, which will be published on 3 March. It is set in Arles, where van Gogh painted his most famous works and seemed to turn mad, or did he? This vivid novel transports you into the frame of mind of this intriguing painter.
Followed closely by The Refrain of Other People’s Lives, a new poetry collection by Arnold Jansen op de Haar which explores what it means to be an EU immigrant into the UK and how this puts the past into a new perspective. It will be published on 30 March.
Last but not least is The Institution, a novel set in a boarding school for the blind, by Vincent Bijlo, a Dutch stand-up comic, author, and musician who happened to be born blind. It will be launched on 27 April, the birthday of the author as well as the King of the Netherlands.
Electronic preview copies of The Yellow House and The Refrain of Other People’s Lives are available now and The Institution will be available at the end of January.
We are planning a series of launch events for these titles and more details will follow shortly.
