Back at the Poetry Book Fair

July 24, 2014

We had a lovely time meeting poetry lovers and poets last year, so we’re delighted to be back at the Poetry Book Fair in 2014. This time we have secured a full table plus a performance slot in Conway Hall.

This year we’re particularly pleased to present our latest poetry collection Diaspo/Renga, a collaboration in alternating Renga, by Marilyn Hacker and Deema Shehabi. This book is very topical as it was inspired by a poems about a steadfast yet emotionally wounded child lamenting her fate during the invasion of Gaza in January 2009.

Arnold Jansen op de Haar, poet, author and literary adviser, will give us a preview of his new poetry collection Meedogenloos liefhebben (Mercilessly Loving).

Of course you will be able to browse all our poetry books and our publisher Bernadette Jansen op de Haar will be on hand to answer all your questions. She says, ‘It’s wonderful to be back at the Poetry Book Fair, it is such a stimulating event that we have given up our usual Saturday spot on Portobello Market.’

The fair takes places on Saturday 6 September in Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square London WC1R 4RL. You’ll be able to visit us and say hello from 10am to 5pm.
