The winning entry in our Slauerhoff translation competition will be announced on the 28th of January to coincide with and celebrate National Poetry Day in The Netherlands and Flanders.
It just so happens that this year’s theme: Across the Border is very appropriate to our competition. Not only did we receive many entries from around the world but Slauerhoff has a very international outlook and the poem we set to be translated has also a very international theme.
