Our short story competition Living under Fire is now closed. We had a very good response and a very big thank you to everyone who sent in their story.
The jury is very busy reading the entries. I am told they are enjoying themselves. We will announce the winner on the 9th of February and will keep you informed about the judging process. We expect to announce a shortlist at the end of January.
Living under Fire was inspired by King of Tuzla by Arnold Jansen op de Haar, a moving account of a conflict seen through the eyes of a writer serving as member of the UN peace keeping forces and ordinary members of the local population.
