The final tally of poems entered in the Angels & Devils Poetry Competition which closed on 31 December 2011 is 902.
Poems have been sent in from countries around the globe, and we’re delighted to report that this competition has broken all previous records.
The shortlisted poems with be announced on Gedichtendag, Dutch National Poetry Day, 26 January 2012.
The winners will receive their prizes at the Angels & Devils awards ceremony on 23 February at the Poetry Cafe in London. The winning poems and runners up will be read by their authors. In case one of the authors cannot attend the awards ceremony, one of the judges will read out their poem.
More details of the awards ceremony will be posted at the end of January.
