The Triumph of the Covers

July 19, 2013

Our designer and webmaster, Andrew Cox from Reactive Graphics, rose to the challenge and has done marvellous work on the covers of our two new books out this autumn.

On one side is this cover for Hold Still, a novel by Cherry Smyth, about the muse and mistress of James Whistler and Gustave Courbet, Joanne Hiffernan. The image catches her allure and determination.

On the other side is the cover for Where is My Mask of an Honest Man? a short story collection by Laura Del-Rivo about life in Notting Hill (on and around Portobello Market) in all its diverse glory. The image gives a subtle hint in stark colours.
