A Dutch Flavoured Bookstall & Reading on 17 September
Holland Park Press will be on the Books and Bulbs market, a fundraising event for the Koning Willem Fonds.
We will be running a bookstall with Dutch and English titles. Uniquely we publish Dutch authors in Dutch and English. So, you can buy a book for yourself as well as one for your English-speaking friends.

Arnold Jansen op de Haar, a Dutch author published by De Arbeiderspers and JM Meulenhof, and who is now based in the UK will read from his own work.
His most recent poetry collection Het refrein van andermans leven & The Refrain of Other People’s Lives was inspired by being an EU immigrant and deals with the feeling that your own life is determined by other people.
His other work includes the novels Engel, Angel & De koning van Tuzla, King of Tuzla and the poetry collection Joegoslavisch requiem, Yugoslav Requiem.
The reading takes place from 14.30 – 14.50 on Sunday 17 September in the historic garden of Trumpeters’ House, Old Palace Yard, Richmond TW9 1PD.
The garden is open from 14.00 to 17.00, Dutch style refreshments are available, and many other activities not only for adults but also for children. This page provides more details in Dutch.
The Koning Willem Fonds, also known as The Netherlands Benevolent Society, is a British charity run by Dutch people in the United Kingdom. The charity gives practical and moral support and, where necessary, also financial assistance to those of Dutch origin in the United Kingdom.
