Paradox17 November 2011Living life to the full is an art. It means sucking every drop of life from the moment. It means hurling yourself into the throng. It involves a lot of effort and is consequently very tiring. I can't do it. The alternative way of living is to take in as much as you can from the days in your life and to recall them, or even relive them, in a moment of quiet, very much as a cow chews the cud. I suppose it is a form of regurgitation. This is in fact an inability to participate in life but, by chewing over past events and impressions you can lead a kind of additional life, one which can be transformed into art. The other way of life cannot. So what's the choice? Live life to the full and have no imagination at all or live mainly through recall, be a party pooper and create an alternative world.
